Las Vegas, Nevada - November 30, 2023

Since 2017, The Amundi Evian Showcase has established itself as the must-attend event for young French golf talents under the age of 18, marking the fruitful collaboration between the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) and The Amundi Evian Championship. Every year, this international rendezvous, orchestrated in the Nevada desert, provides French golf prodigies with the opportunity to showcase their skills to prestigious American universities.

The kick-off for this American adventure took place on the first day of "The Amundi Evian Showcase," offering French players a captivating preview of golf life across the Atlantic. The day began at dawn with a muscle wake-up supervised by the experienced coach of the French Golf Federation, Alexandre Bosseray. Through targeted exercises, young French golfers prepared their bodies and minds for the challenges ahead on the Las Vegas courses.

The Painted Desert Golf Club, the venue for the "BOYS" tournament, then welcomed competitors for a technical training session bathed in the desert sun. Every swing, every shot was refined, with French coaches providing personalized advice in the crucial perspective of the showcase.

After this intensive training, the players delved into the world of American college golf. A tour of the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) facilities was organized. An exchange with the coaches gave French golfers a privileged insight into the level of competition and the opportunities that could be available to them if they decided to pursue their athletic and academic careers in the United States.

The day concluded with a friendly dinner in Las Vegas. The ten participants shared anecdotes and experiences, strengthening the bonds within the team. Two days before the official start of the tournament, the relaxed atmosphere of the meal offered players a welcome break, fostering a team spirit.

This intense first day prepared the French players to face "The Amundi Evian Showcase" with determination and confidence. They absorbed the coaches' teachings, explored the opportunities offered by UNLV, and felt the palpable excitement of Las Vegas, promising an exciting competition to come.
