The 2024 edition of the Amundi Evian Juniors Cup has established itself as one of the most prestigious events in international youth golf. This tournament, held at the renowned Evian Resort Golf Club, annually attracts the best amateur players under the age of 14 from numerous countries, competing in a high-level competition. Once again, this year's event welcomed teams representing 18 nations: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, South Korea, Denmark, Spain, the United States, Finland, France, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Turkey.
Throughout the week, these young talents had the opportunity to showcase their full potential on one of the most iconic courses in the circuit. Known for hosting the only women’s major tournament in Continental Europe each year, the Evian Resort Golf Club once again provided an exceptional setting, conducive to high-level performances. Beyond the competition, this tournament also offers young players the chance to meet and interact with leading figures in the world of golf, making it an unforgettable experience.
The excitement remained palpable throughout the week, with a fierce battle between nations to claim the coveted title. In 2023, the United States had emerged victorious, and the burning question this year was whether they could repeat that success. European teams like France and Japan stood out for their tenacity and remarkable performances. However, the United States was determined to defend their crown.
Since its inception in 2007, the Amundi Evian Juniors Cup has become a unique platform for discovering the champions of tomorrow. Many who have competed in this event have gone on to prove themselves on the professional circuit. World-class stars such as Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Aditi Ashok, and Rose Zhang walked the Evian Resort Golf Club course before establishing themselves as global golfing icons.

2024 : Results of The Amundi Evian Juniors Cup.
After three intense days of play on the greens of the Evian Resort Golf Club, the 2024 edition concluded with the United States team once again claiming victory. With a total score of 644 strokes, the Americans successfully defended their title against stiff competition. France finished in second place with a total of 657 strokes, closely followed by Japan, who completed the podium with 664 strokes. These three nations demonstrated great consistency throughout the tournament, but it was the efficiency and cohesion of the American team that made the difference.
Italy and Spain also stood out, finishing in fourth and fifth place, respectively, while South Korea secured sixth place. Morocco finished in seventh place with a total of 693 strokes, edging out Belgium and Switzerland, both tied at 694 strokes, highlighting the fierce competition for the top spots.
In addition to the nations' rankings, individual performances left a lasting impression, with young golfers already demonstrating impressive talent.
Girls Category:
In the girls' competition, it was Samantha Chiou from the United States who dominated, finishing with a total score of 211 (-2), after three rounds of 70, 70, and 71. Her consistency and composure allowed her to outpace her rivals and secure the championship. Angela Revuelta from Spain took second place with a score of 216 (+3), closely followed by another American, Grace Carter, who rounded out the podium with a score of 217 (+4).
Other notable performances included Lana Guyot from France, who finished in fourth place with a score of 220 (+7), and Rena Chikashige from Japan, who placed fifth with a total score of 226 (+13). These promising young players showcased an impressive level of play, hinting at a bright future on the greens.
Boys Category:
In the boys' competition, the intensity was just as high. Martim Johansen from Portugal triumphed with a total score of 214 (+1), thanks in part to an exceptional final round of 67 strokes, which allowed him to pull ahead of his competitors in the final hours of the tournament. He finished ahead of Louis Le Sager from France, who recorded a score of 216 (+3), tied with Richard Ding from the United States and Amuro Yoshiyuki from Japan, both also finishing with 216 (+3).
Among other standout performances, Kai Liam Notteboom from Belgium finished in fifth place with a score of 219 (+6), while Tao Pemerika from France secured sixth place with a total of 222 (+9). These young players demonstrated impressive maturity on a challenging course, positioning themselves as rising talents to watch in the coming years.
